Concealed Carry Training
The CCW course is designed to provide the student with a basic understanding of the attitude and physical conditioning necessary to prepare them for the unexpected encounter for which they might find themselves. This firearms course was designed for the beginner to advanced shooter who is looking to gain the necessary skills to safely protect themselves.
The following topics will be covered in the class but this is not a comprehensive list as we do our best to taylor the class topics to the needs of the given audience participants.
California Laws governing the use of deadly force
Firearms and home/vehicle safety
Methods of Concealed Carry
Basic Firearms Safety
Drawing from concealment
Basic Positional Shooting
Moving forward and rearward from aggressor
Moving laterally from aggressor
Firearms Safe handling Qualification Course (50 Rounds)
We offer two different courses of different lengths to meet the requirements of different issuing entities. Be sure to check with your particular issuing entity to verify their training requirement.
8 Hour Course
The course is approximately 2 or more hours of classroom work and 4 hours of range time. The course time will vary depending on number of students and their ability.
16 Hour Course
The course is approximately 4 or more hours of classroom work and 8 hours of range time. The course time will vary depending on number of students and their ability.
8 Hour Course - $150.00 to BRC plus range fee’s (normally $25.00)
16 Hour Course - $225.00 to BRC plus range fee’s (normally $25.00)
Upon successful completion of the course students will be provided the required paperwork for their CCW application.
